Hana is Officially Walking
Hana took her first step in Disneyland on her birthday and has been testing her walking skills ever since. She was taking a few steps everyday and this Wednesday she was up to five steps before falling-the most we've seen her take. The very next day, she was walking from the TV to the couch to the coffee table back to the TV again-one big loop without a pause. So adorable!!! We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself!
She had a doctor's appointment today and she is 21 lbs, 2 oz (54%) and 30.5 inches tall(95%).

Here's a shot of Hana trying on the sunglasses that Aunt Cherith got for her. She's always trying to grab sunglasses from our faces-she was shocked to have a pair of her own!
The potty shot! I think her expression is so pretty in this picture:) Hana loves her potty and amazingly, uses it several times a day.
Mother's Day
Kevin and Hana woke up at 5 am to decorate the dining room for me -what sweethearts!
Ok, Hana woke up crying at 5 am and Momma was too lazy to get her so Kevin did and since he was up, he decided to go ahead and decorate the dining room so I could see it when I woke up. Which was a good idea because the three of us slept until 10 am and had to rush to get ready for church!

This is the card that Hana 'picked out' for me. I thought it was absolutely hilarious and any mother who reads it can laugh at what a preposterous idea it is that a funny card balances out 9 months of pregnancy :). I read this card out loud and when I read the inside part, Hana started cracking up as if she understood the joke too!

It was Mother's Day so I reserve the right to toot my own horn...being the selfless woman that I am, I let Kevin go to the Warriors' Semifinal Game 4 with my dad and Hana, my mother and I had a quiet evening at home. But Kevin better watch out when Father's Day comes around ;)!

Hana's 1st Birthday
Hana's birthday weekend in Disneyland was so much fun. She had the time of her life. She loved the rides and all the attention she received. This picture was taken at Cinderella's castle at 9:16 am, the exact time Hana was born.
Her grandparents had one request-that they could be the ones to take her on Peter Pan's Flight
Hana's favorite ride was King Arthur's Carousel. She loved it so much that we rode it twice. She started crying when we had to wait in line and couldn't get back on right away.
She even took her official first step in Disneland. What great timing! I think there was so much to see that she just wanted to get moving. She's taken a few steps here and there since then but I wouldn't describe her as walking yet. But at least we know she's close!

The day after her birthday, we had her portrait done by a street artist at Downtown Disney. It took 40 minutes and we were impressed that Hana behaved for so long!
