We bought Hana a new toddler bed and rearranged her room to accommodate it. I was lucky to find some bedding at Pottery Barn Kids that complements the current decor of the room.
We weren't sure if Hana would like her bed but she loves it and has slept soundly in it ever since its arrival last week. The first time we put her in it was for an afternoon nap. We waited around to watch what she would do and she told us "Go away!" and fell right asleep.
Hana never spent much time in her room and neither did we. Now that "new bed" has arrived, the room has a much cozier feel and we have been hanging out in her room more. Hard to believe there will be two little girls sharing that room in a matter of time! Now when Hana sees the crib she say "Baby sister go nite nite".

How wonderful for Hana! No longer your baby, eh? Russell has the same Mickey Mouse and loves it like his best friend.

I am a friend of Hillary's and jumped over from their blog. I am a mom to 2 girls and we have a blast. The girls shared a room for the first 6 months and then it was getting to be too much of a party in the girls' room. Their laughter and chatter is SO touching, but not at 10pm when everyone is supposed to be sleeping, or nap time either! They will share a room again probably when our oldest is done taking an afternoon nap every day.
