This weekend we spent some time at the beach. Hana loved playing in the sand with her new shovel and bucket. It was such a relaxing time that we almost felt like we were away on vacation.
When we've taken Hana to the beach before, she has always resisted getting in the water because it's so cold. Surprisingly, she let us dip her toes in. She ended up loving it and the three of us frolicked in the waves. So much fun! She got so adventurous that she wanted to dive right in but we only let the water get up to her knees. Even with chattering teeth, she didn't want to stop splashing so we let her keep playing with a towel wrapped around her. We are so proud when she tries new things!
