The best part about the holidays is spending time with family. Kevin's oldest of four sisters, Cherith, came and spent the week with us. The last time we saw her was Christmas 2005 when I was 5 months pregnant. Hana loved her Auntie immediately and soaked up all the extra attention!
After opening gifts, we went in the yard so Hana could try out her new tricycle. We were lucky to have Cherith take this picture of us (although it might be a bit obvious that I am forcing Hana to pose with us!)
We had to take Cherith to our favorite spot-the beach! The waves were absolutely insane and splashed all the way to the street. We hadn't seen them like that before but it was awesome to watch!
We went to HarMaMa (Hana's new title for Harmony) and PawPaw's for a delicious Christmas dinner. Hana surprisingly sat still and let us enjoy all the good food.
On the day after Christmas, we went to the Exploratorium. We had originally intended to go ice skating at the zoo but we had a lot of fun here. However, Hana was in a sensitive mood and wanted to be held a lot more than she normally does. She had fun playing the xylophone.
We had a great lunch at the Exploratorium. The lunch area was pretty crowded but Cherith was able to snag us a good table.
Kevin, Cherith & Hana spent the following day in downtown SF doing a little sightseeing but the camera was left at home. I am sure they had a great time!

The differences between little boys and girls are so apparent! No little Kitty here- just trucks and trains;-)
