So Hana's pet chinchilla finally has a name: Chillie. Chillie's main location of residence is the garage. She started off in Kevin's office but apparently chinchillas are nocturnal. Chinchillas also require a dust bath and the dust got everywhere. Also, many of her little 'pellets' ended up outside the cage. So our house remains clean and quiet at night if Chillie lives in the garage. But we do bring her in everyday to play with Hana and she absolutely loves it!
Hana loves to chase after Chillie and pet her. Hana acts like she wants to hold Chillie but everytime we try to put Chillie in Hana's arms, she laughs and runs away.
Last saturday Hana accompanied us to a barbecue with some friends. Hana was the only child there but she had 4 dogs to play with. She loved all the dogs except for the one that stole snacks right from her hand!
